The Android application "DepthMaker" converts 2D photos to 3D
and displays them in various 3D formats.
It is a bit troublesome to transfer 2D images in a Windows PC to Android for 3D conversion.
In such cases, the Android emulator "LDPlayer" allows you to convert 2D images to 3D images only on Windows.
You can also easily convert a whole folder at once, so if you are interested, please give it a try.
1. Install "LDPlayer" Android emulator for Windows Download the software from the LDPlayer website and install it in Windows. After installation is complete, start the "LDPlayer 9" icon that will be created on the desktop. |
2. Install "DepthMaker" in "LDPlayer" Install "DepthMaker" from the Play Store in the system apps on the "LDPlayer" home screen. Or, download the APK below and drag and drop it onto the "LDPlayer" home screen to install. depthmaker-1.41.apk |
3. Transfer 2D images to be loaded by "DepthMaker" from a PC. https://www.ldplayer.net/blog/how-to-transfer-files-between-pc-and-ldplayer.html Since the \Pictures folder of "LDPlayer" and the \documents\XuanZhi9\Pictures folder of PC are shared folders, store the images you want "DepthMaker" to read in the \documents\XuanZhi9\Pictures folder of PC. Then they will be stored in the \Pictures folder of "LDPlayer" and can be accessed by "DepthMaker". Of course, you can also store each folder containing images. You can easily open the shared folder on your PC ( \Documents\XuanZhi9\Pictures) from the shared file button on the right side of the LDPlayer. |
4. 2D to 3D conversion with "DepthMaker" When a 2D image is loaded in DepthMaker, it automatically creates an RGBD image and stores it in the \Pictures\RGBD folder in the emulator. Saving with the parallel method SBS allows you to save the image in the folder \Pictures\SBS Also, with batch conversion, selecting any file in a folder will batch convert all images in that folder, RGBD images are stored in the \Pictures\Multi\RGBD folder SBS images are stored in the \Pictures\Multi\SBS folder Since the LDPlayer Pictures folder is a shared folder, all of the above files saved by DepthMaker are stored in a shared folder on the PC side, and can be retrieved from that folder. |
5. Caution When you store a new image file in the shared folder on the PC side, it is reflected in the image database of "LDPlayer" and can be immediately accessed from "DepthMaker", However, if you delete an image file from the shared folder on the PC side, for some reason, the image file is not reflected in the image database. So, even if the image file is deleted, the file can still be selected from "DepthMaker", but since the file has been deleted, an error occurs. To reflect the deletion in the image database of "LDPlayer", it is necessary to restart "LDPlayer". |
